Mayank Uniyal teaches at Rishikesh Yogkul in Rishikesh, Uttrakhand where he is known as the guru due to his penchant for inversions. Passionate about sharing his love of yoga with others, his classes offer everyone the chance to be upside down in a fun, safe way! Mayank is a wonderful example of the healing powers of yoga. He aims to deliver the right knowledge simplistically. He uses core integration and alignment as well as laughter, to help his students “lengthen and strengthen” – while having fun! He specializes in the Hatha and Vinyasa flow, forms of yoga. It is a general practice of yoga that involves asanas and pranayamas. Asanas are the yoga poses that promote the functioning of internal organs. Pranayama is the technique for breathing. It strengthens the respiratory system and prevents chronic diseases.
